About the position
The Director of Sales for Codazen will be responsible for leading initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity within the sales organization. They will manage a team to build and maintain profitable relationships with clients, while also developing intelligence across the revenue funnel and implementing performance metrics. This role requires managing day-to-day workflow, developing a high-performing sales organization, identifying target opportunities for revenue growth, providing executive support for high-value opportunities, and aligning strategic initiatives across internal resources. The Director of Sales will also monitor operational and revenue trends, guide standardization of analytics and KPIs, identify training needs, and provide thought leadership for sales systems and processes. This role requires up to 25% travel and will be based in the Irvine office.
Responsibilities
- Manage the sales organization, including day-to-day workflow and resolving feedback from clients and internal employees
- Develop a high-performing sales organization that supports the entire customer lifecycle
- Identify target opportunities for revenue growth and establish growth targets for Account Managers
- Provide executive support for designated customers or segments to land high-value opportunities
- Align and drive strategic initiatives from Codazen Leadership across internal resources
- Identify market opportunities and customer segmentation to align efforts of Account Managers
- Monitor operational and revenue trends and implement action plans to overcome obstacles
- Guide standardization of analytics and KPIs across Account Manager team
- Lead pipeline performance analysis and provide actionable feedback
- Identify training needs and initiate enablement activities for the Account Manager team
- Provide thought leadership for sales systems, processes, and improvements
- Establish sales collateral to highlight company offerings
- Must be okay with up to 25% travel
- Onsite 4 days a week at the Irvine office
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of Account Manager/Sales experience
