About the position
We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead and manage our prenatal product line at BillionToOne. This role will involve owning the entire product roadmap and product marketing function for our prenatal product portfolio, including new assay development and existing assay enhancements. As the product owner of our most important product line, you will play a crucial role in understanding the market, designing winning product concepts, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for product marketing strategies, program management, and continuous iterations and improvements. This is a hybrid role and reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities
- Understand the market and design a winning product concept
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch
- Ensure a seamless user experience throughout the product
- Develop brand and marketing strategies for new product launch
- Mobilize internal and external resources for program management
- Continuously monitor user voice, behaviors, metrics, and market trends for product line improvement
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing, launching and managing prenatal genetic testing products
- Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and product requirements
- Experience launching a product from start to finish
- Strong understanding of the market and ability to design a winning product concept
- Ability to manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch
- End-to-end user experience management
- Strong product marketing skills
- Program management experience
- Ability to continuously iterate and improve products based on user feedback and market trends
