About The Position

The Director of Operations (RN) plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates daily operations to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, organizational policies and procedures, and established goals and budgets. The role is responsible for the assigned branch’s financial success and supports growth through active involvement in sales and marketing activities. The position offers access to a supportive leadership team and professional development opportunities, with room for advancement.

The organization provides hospice and palliative care to patients with advanced or life-limiting illnesses and their families. The Director of Operations is expected to help deliver compassionate care and meaningful patient experiences.

Requirements

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; a BSN is preferred.
• Current state license as a registered nurse.
• At least 2 years of hospice experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently; lift at least 80–100 pounds; and effectively bear the weight of an average adult.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of healthcare management and supervisory experience as a registered nurse in an appropriate clinical care setting, home health, or hospice environment (preferred).
• BSN.
