RN/LPN Assisted Living Director of Memory Care

About The Position

The Palmettos of Bluffton is seeking a licensed RN or LPN Director of Memory Care to develop, coordinate, implement, and oversee programs and services for the memory care unit. The program aims to meet residents’ basic psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs while promoting quality of life in a nurturing environment. The position includes supervising the daily operation of the memory care unit, completing pre-move-in assessments as needed in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and/or Sales and Marketing Director, and initiating and updating resident plans of care every six months or as needed. The Director also coordinates and participates in care plan meetings and performs other duties as assigned. A strong clinical background is preferred. Requirements

Must be a licensed nurse (RN or LPN).
Have a strong understanding of activities and have completed a training course approved by the state.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
A minimum of one year of experience specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia in a residential setting.
A strong clinical background.

Responsibilities
