About The Position

Provides comprehensive management and leadership for an assigned area of responsibility to implement and maintain an integrated software system that meets business and patient care needs across the Baptist healthcare continuum. The role leads projects, implements milestones, standardizes operations, identifies efficiencies, engages key stakeholders, and directs the transformation of people, processes, and technology affected by the system across the enterprise. The incumbent is responsible for these functions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The position oversees the development, design, and implementation of applications and software packages, with a focus on integrated business or clinical solutions. It provides operational leadership for project goals and tactics, measures progress and milestones, and assesses resource utilization, budget accountability, and human resources management. The role participates in strategic planning, analyzes processes and data, supports consistent application of policies and procedures, monitors implementation through metrics and workflow assessments, and communicates milestones and challenges to senior leadership. The Director develops relationships with physician, clinical, and operational stakeholders to promote communication, collaboration, successful implementation and maintenance, and customer support. The position works in collaboration with the System Director- Baptist OneCare, has direct-line accountability for designated application teams and operations within the scope of the integrated software system, and works with administrative staff or designees to align goals with the organization’s strategic direction. Other accountabilities may be assigned or directed.

Requirements

12 or more years of experience.
Five years of management responsibility.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Current licensure as required for clinical designation.

Responsibilities

Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and software packages throughout system installation, focusing on integrated business or clinical solutions.
Work with the PMO team to implement solutions and system capabilities across service areas.
Provide operational leadership and guidance for project goals and tactics, including measuring project progress and milestones and assessing resource utilization, budget accountability, and human resources management.
Participate in strategic planning to design key components that meet organizational goals.
Analyze processes and data in the area of accountability and develop action plans to address concerns or maintain system integrity.
Support standardization through consistent application of policies, procedures, and guidelines, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies where appropriate.
Monitor installation and project progress using defined metrics, workflow assessments and improvements, reports, and best practices.
Communicate project milestones and challenges to senior leadership.
Develop professional relationships with physician, clinical, and operational stakeholders to promote communication, collaboration, successful implementation and maintenance, and customer support.
Collaborate with the System Director- Baptist OneCare regarding essential functions.
Maintain direct-line accountability for designated application teams and operations within the scope of the integrated software system.
Work with administrative staff members or designees to develop and achieve goals aligned with the overall strategic direction.
Perform other accountabilities as assigned or directed.
