Job Summary: The Director of Marketing leads Kinetic Advantage’s brand, demand generation, customer engagement, and lifecycle marketing strategy. This role is responsible for building and executing modern marketing programs that strengthen brand awareness, support lead generation, improve customer engagement, and drive conversion and retention across the dealer journey. The Director of Marketing serves as a strategic partner to Sales, Operations, Customer Experience, and Industry Relations, ensuring marketing initiatives are aligned with company priorities, market opportunities, and the evolving needs of our independent dealer and auction partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Five or more years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership in digital marketing, campaign strategy, customer engagement, or brand management
  • Experience overseeing creative development, branded assets, and multi-channel marketing execution preferred
  • Strong knowledge of modern marketing, digital campaigns, customer engagement, and lifecycle marketing methodologies
  • Understanding of SEO, GEO, and AEO strategies that improve visibility, engagement, and lead generation
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use campaign, web, and customer data to guide decisions
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
  • Strong branding, messaging, and design oversight skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM, analytics, and digital marketing tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead Kinetic Advantage’s marketing strategy, brand positioning, and customer engagement efforts
  • Build and optimize automated customer journeys across the lifecycle, including prospecting, onboarding, activation, and retention
  • Manage CRM-based workflows, lead nurturing, segmentation, and marketing programs
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Communications, and Industry Relations to align marketing efforts with our business goals
  • Drive performance across website, email, social media, and paid and organic channels with a focus on measurable results
  • Lead SEO, GEO, and AEO strategies to improve visibility across search, AI-driven discovery, and answer-based platforms
  • Oversee website content, optimization, and user engagement to improve traffic quality, conversion, and customer experience
  • Analyze campaign performance, CRM reporting, customer behavior, and market trends to inform strategy and improve results
  • Maintain brand standards, messaging, templates, and visual consistency across all materials
  • Design and/or oversee the design of digital and print marketing materials, presentations, advertisements, publications, and sales tools
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop data informed strategies that support product adoption, customer loyalty, and market penetration
  • Develop and support social media strategies that strengthen brand credibility and deepen dealer and auction partner engagement
  • Lead the planning and execution of internal conferences, sales meetings, leadership events, and company gatherings
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with the coordination of re-occurring board meetings, corporate visitors, and other related meetings/events
  • Oversee the design of event-related materials, including presentations, signage, agendas, promotional items, and attendee communications
  • Test, refine, and scale marketing initiatives using data-driven decision-making
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
