About The Position

Global Village Academy is an innovative charter school where students learn core academic content through language immersion. Language offerings vary by campus: our North - Thornton campus offers Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian, while our Aurora and Douglas County campuses offer Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and French. GVA is truly a "global village." Our immersion teachers come from all over the world, each bringing their unique culture and language into the classroom. United by a common core, students are challenged to become world class thinkers, capable of engaging ideas using multiple languages and cross-cultural perspectives, through an internationally benchmarked curriculum spanning each language village. Mission Global Village Academy Collaborative serves as the central service provider and partner organization for its multilingual immersion schools so that all Global Village Academies cultivate academic excellence, high levels of linguistic proficiency, and cultural competence. We achieve this by responsibly maximizing the potential of our learning communities and unifying sustainable instructional and business practices. Location This position offers a hybrid work environment that includes some remote work along with regular on-site presence at school campuses. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced school environment and able to adapt their schedule to meet organizational and campus needs. Regular travel between campuses, attendance at in-person meetings, student recruitment activities, community events, open houses, and occasional evening and weekend events is required. This role provides flexibility while also requiring a strong commitment to visibility, collaboration, and engagement within the school communities we serve. Job Summary The Director of Marketing & Enrollment provides strategic leadership for marketing, branding, student recruitment, community engagement, communications, and school initiatives across Global Village Academy Collaborative. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and enrollment strategies that strengthen the organization's visibility, increase student enrollment and retention, foster community partnerships and development efforts. The Director serves as a key ambassador for the organization and ensures that all marketing, communications, and outreach efforts align with the mission, vision, and values of Global Village Academy campuses and Global Village Academy Collaborative. This role requires a collaborative, creative, and data-driven leader who can successfully manage multiple initiatives while building strong relationships with families, staff, and community stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Global Village Academy Collaborative.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Education, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, enrollment management, fundraising, or related leadership roles.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing and student recruitment plans preferred.
  • Experience in education, charter schools, nonprofit organizations, or community-based organizations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with grant writing, event planning, website management, and digital marketing preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including families, students, staff, donors, and community partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret enrollment and marketing data to guide decision-making.
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms, social media tools, databases, and communication systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and strengthen the Global Village Academy brand across all campuses and communication platforms.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational goals and enrollment targets.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to establish long-range marketing, enrollment, and community engagement goals.
  • Create and oversee marketing campaigns across print, digital, social media, email, and community outreach platforms.
  • Research marketing and advertising trends to identify innovative recruitment and engagement strategies.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and provide regular, measurable reporting on return on investment (ROI), enrollment conversion, and engagement outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all schools and departments.
  • Support student recruitment and retention initiatives across the organization.
  • Partner with school leaders to develop and execute annual student enrollment marketing plans.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend student recruitment events, community fairs, open houses, orientations, and enrollment events.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials, advertisements, presentations, and informational packets to prospective families and community partners.
  • Develop and implement parent engagement and post-enrollment communication strategies to support student retention.
  • Prepare regular enrollment and recruitment reports for organizational leadership.
  • Develop and manage the organization's communication plan, including newsletters, social media, websites, strategic plans, annual reports and electronic communication platforms.
  • Serve as a spokesperson and positive representative of Global Village Academy within the community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community organizations, local businesses, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate public relations efforts to promote a positive image of the schools and organization.
  • Support family engagement initiatives that strengthen school-community partnerships.
  • Assist in the creation, editing, and distribution of school newsletters to families, staff, and community stakeholders, ensuring timely, engaging, and consistent communication.
  • Manage and update content across multiple school websites, ensuring information is accurate, current, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational branding and values.
  • Develop and implement community outreach initiatives that strengthen relationships with local preschools, community organizations, and business partners to promote Global Village Academy programs and enrollment opportunities.
  • Create, schedule, and monitor social media content across various platforms to enhance community engagement, increase brand awareness, and support recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with school leadership, marketing team members, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent branding across all communication channels.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, digital engagement, recruitment efforts, and outreach initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content for school events, recruitment activities, and community engagement efforts.
  • Maintain the annual marketing and development budget.
  • Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure compliance with student confidentiality laws and organizational policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the organization's mission and operational needs.
  • Support school boards with policy and guideline review schedule, and board meeting compliance.
  • Support school leadership with required financial and policy related transparency across websites and other platforms.

Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000
