About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Director of Housekeeping to join its team at Eaton DC. The role oversees housekeeping operations, including scheduling room and cleaning assignments, inspecting suites and public areas, maintaining cleanliness and room-status accuracy, addressing maintenance needs, and leading direct reports. The position may also involve performing housekeeping duties and other tasks as needed to meet business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years in a housekeeping management position.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspect assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean and in good repair.
• Perform housekeeping duties as necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly select assigned rooms to check cleanliness and counsel Housekeepers regarding discrepancies.
• Notify the General Manager and/or Chief Engineer of necessary maintenance repairs.
• Hire, coach, and discipline direct reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
