About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented General Manager for Eaton DC. The role is responsible for hotel operations, financial performance, staff leadership, guest service, property preservation, safety, and compliance. The General Manager is expected to uphold brand standards and support the company’s service culture, which emphasizes hospitality, respect, authenticity, and prioritizing the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Schulte Hospitality Group is a division of Schulte Companies, a third-party management company operating more than 200 locations across 38 states and 3 countries. The company’s portfolio includes major hotel brands as well as independent, boutique, and lifestyle properties and restaurants. Responsibilities

Manage budgets and financial plans and control expenditures.
Maintain statistical and financial records.
Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
Recruit, train, and monitor staff.
Plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
Respond appropriately to and resolve guest concerns.
Address problems and troubleshoot.
Ensure events and conferences run smoothly.
Preserve hotel assets, including supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
Conduct property inspections as identified by the organization and brand.
Ensure the property meets brand guidelines and expectations for service and other standards.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements, and other statutory regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
