Director of Finance

Enigma is seeking a Director of Finance to join their cross-functional finance team and play a central role in finding new opportunities to grow and improve their finance function. The ideal candidate will have strategic acumen, strong communication and leadership skills, and a solid understanding of accounting and corporate finance. This role offers the opportunity to create insights and influence strategy in a relatively new product set with a massive opportunity for impact across product, GTM, and finance. The Director of Finance will be responsible for leading daily financial operations, managing revenue operations, and facilitating increased intelligence across the business.

• Lead daily financial operations
• Manage and create new opportunities in revenue operations
• Serve as a strategic voice across teams
• Ensure mission-critical processes are executed
• Create insights and influence strategy on the ground floor of the business
• Use strategic acumen to consider broader corporate and product context
• Communicate and lead with empathy, prioritizing responsiveness and consensus-building
• Combine understanding of accounting and corporate finance with experience in revenue or revenue operations
• Have experience in consulting, investment banking, or investment management roles
• Manage and influence decisions across diverse stakeholders
• Have a strong understanding of financial accounting, corporate finance, and SaaS economics
• Engage with and work on projects with different stakeholders cross-functionally
• Manage projects across different teams
• Be driven by real-world impact and ask the "so what?" when working on a project
• Bonus: Prior experience leading a finance function at a data or fintech startup
• Bonus: Experience working with the revenue or product org at a startup

• Strategic acumen, considering the broader corporate and product context
• Strong communication and leadership skills, prioritizing responsiveness, consensus-building, and driven by intellectual curiosity
• Solid understanding of accounting and corporate finance
• Experience or background in revenue or revenue operations, understanding the relationship between GTM (Go-To-Market) and operations
• 4+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or investment management roles
• Experience managing and influencing decisions across diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical foundation
• Familiarity with financial accounting, corporate finance, and SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) economics
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage projects across different teams
• Driven by real-world impact and always asking the "so what?" when working on a project

• Competitive salary range of $150,000-$210,000
