About The Position

The Director of Facilities ensures that activities within the reporting departments align with the company’s business objectives, budget guidelines, mission statement, and core service standards. The role leads facility operations, including fiscal planning, department operations, service standards, technical trades, staffing, purchasing, safety, and maintenance of the physical plant.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a manager, or related technical education or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience with the design and construction of changes to the physical plant.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
• Previous senior management-level experience with a strong facilities and maintenance background within an arena facility operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and monitoring of fiscal budgets, department operations, and operating strategies to support short- and long-term profitability.
• Direct the development, execution, and measurement of guest service standards and manage technical trade classifications in accordance with company service standards and brand attributes.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures focused on facility operating efficiency and safety.
• Review operating budgets and staffing plans; recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate arena personnel and service providers.
• Manage purchasing and inventory control systems for consumable items, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure the physical plant meets applicable city, state, and federal codes and safety standards.
• Provide management guidance and technical direction to resolve maintenance, facilities, and landscaping issues.
