About The Position

As an Assistant Beverage Manager at MGM Grand, you will manage operational functions within the beverage department and help create memorable guest experiences through welcoming, attentive service. You will support efficient and cost-effective operations, oversee service delivery and assigned shifts, coordinate beverage outlet requisitions and stocking, and guide staff scheduling and performance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience in beverage or an equivalent food and beverage supervisory position.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in food and beverage or culinary arts.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned operational functions in line with the department’s strategic plan and vision.
• Direct smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operations, including labor management, service supervision, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service according to company core service standards and brand attributes.
• Support management oversight of assigned shifts to ensure quality guest service.
• Coordinate requisitions and stocking for beverage outlets to maximize divisional revenue.
• Guide and counsel beverage employees and ensure staff are scheduled properly.
• Recommend responses to daily operational issues to management.
