About The Position

Chartwells K12 is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead dining operations for a K-12 school district in Woodbridge, Connecticut. The role involves leading and developing Supervisors and frontline associates, improving customer satisfaction and profitability, managing the annual budget and costs, and ensuring quality, safety, and sanitation standards. The Director also builds relationships with clients, customers, and associates and performs other duties needed to support efficient dining service operations.

Requirements

Five or more years of foodservice management experience.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Food Services Technology, Management, or Hospitality, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and catering trends.
Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
