About The Position

Chartwells K12 is seeking a Bench Director of Dining Services for a K–12 school district in Jacksonville, Florida. The person in this role will train under current leadership, learning the full scope of the Director of Dining Services position, and support operations during the training program. After training, the person will move into a Director role overseeing food service operations across multiple school locations. The role involves leading teams, improving customer satisfaction and profitability, recruiting and developing talent, managing the annual budget, maintaining quality and safety standards, and building strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates. Other duties may be assigned to support the efficient operation of dining services.

Requirements

Five or more years of foodservice management experience.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology, Management, or Hospitality, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and catering trends.
Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
