Director of Digital Workplace Services
About The Position
The Director of Digital Workplace Services is a member of the Information Services senior leadership team and manages Information Services teams responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and support of approved clinical, financial, integration, and specialty application technologies across the organization. The director partners strategically with multiple departments to develop application strategies, implementation timelines, and budgets. This role oversees application transitions using current standard change management methodologies and ensures deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a healthcare-related field combined with at least 5 years of healthcare Information Services management experience; alternatively, 10 years of experience in healthcare information technology.
- Understanding of ITIL service methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Partner strategically with multiple departments to assist in evaluating proposed application technologies.
- Coordinate requests for application technologies with the appropriate governance committees.
- Manage application transition services, including upgrades and patches, using approved methodologies.
- Oversee implementation of clinical, financial/business, patient management, eHealth, and infrastructure applications.
- Ensure projects follow established methodologies, timelines, and budgets; monitor and report results to INTEGRIS management.
- Oversee application upgrades and enhancement projects, ensuring they follow established methodologies, timelines, and budgets.
