About The Position

Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health is an adolescent mental health facility serving children and teens with behavioral health needs. The Director of Dietary/Food Services manages and coordinates the Food Service Department, providing nutritious and attractive meals for patients and facility employees. The role provides direct supervision to dietary staff and works with the Dietitian and Director to ensure safe food preparation, handling, and storage. It also maintains an organized and sanitary environment, monitors supply inventories, purchases food and supplies as needed, ensures proper storage, and manages an effective food service staff.

Requirements

Associate degree in a food service-related field.
Certification as a Dietary Manager.
Must be able to obtain ServSafe Certification within six months of hire.
Knowledge of food preparation using menus, kitchen equipment, and kitchen cleaning methods and products.
Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Proficient time management skills.
Ability to bend, handle and lift, and perform manual and finger dexterity tasks requiring eye-hand coordination.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

Strong cooking and supervisory experience.
Three or more years of food service experience at a healthcare facility.
