Responsibilities
- Lead the Analytic Data Marts and Metrics team
- Manage a team of six analysts in a sprint format
- Develop strategies and frameworks for creating and maintaining analytical data layers
- Ensure data quality and governance in the ecosystem
- Develop roadmaps for enhancing revenue-focused metrics and developing new customer-focused metrics
- Build enterprise reporting capability for delivering customer insights to executive levels
- Manage the code base and adhere to internal standards for a high-scale database environment
- Report on competitive data and evaluate new sources for better competitive landscape understanding
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related or quantitative field required
- 10+ years of professional experience in analytics, 5+ years experience managing people
- Experience building and managing analytic data layers, knowledge of ETL processes and data governance principles
- SQL fluency required, experience with scripting languages like Python or R preferred
- Experience in managing metrics at the C-Suite level
- Preferred experience in leading reporting/data visualization capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop roadmaps for complex technical initiatives and communicate progress effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related or quantitative field
- 10+ years of professional experience in analytics, 5+ years experience managing people
- Experience building and managing analytic data layers
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data environments, data governance principles, etc.
- Knowledge of DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake preferred
- SQL fluency is a must with preferred experience using scripting languages like Python or R
- Experience in managing metrics that are monitored at the C-Suite level
- Preferred experience in leading reporting/data visualization capabilities
- Understanding of infrastructure, monitoring, and alerting necessary to support highly visible and business-critical reporting
- Demonstrated ability to develop a roadmap for complex technical initiatives and effectively communicate progress against that
