Director, Growth Marketing

League Inc.Toronto, ON
CA$145,000 - CA$170,000Hybrid

About The Position

We're looking for a Director, Growth Marketing to own and optimize League's demand generation engine. This is a pipeline role, not a brand awareness role. You'll set strategy and build and run campaigns yourself — comfortable with the full stack from search and paid media to email and content-driven demand. You'll build and run integrated demand generation programs across digital channels, with an eye toward expanding into account-based strategies over time. This role reports into Marketing leadership and works closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Product Marketing to drive qualified pipeline.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B demand generation or growth marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of the function end-to-end
  • Enterprise SaaS background — you've marketed to large, complex organizations (1,000+ employees) with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Proven track record of personally owning and driving significant pipeline, not just supporting it
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Pardot (or a comparable MAP), Google Analytics, and SEMrush
  • Strong data instincts: you pull reports yourself, find the signal, and translate it into a clear recommendation
  • You build campaigns, not just briefs — comfortable executing across the full stack
  • B2B background required; enterprise demand gen playbooks differ fundamentally from B2C

Nice To Haves

  • Background in healthcare technology, or experience selling into health system or enterprise health benefits buyers
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance considerations (e.g., HIPAA) as they relate to marketing
  • Experience with ABM platforms like Demandbase or 6sense
  • Early thinking on AEO — how to influence LLM citations and community-driven discovery (Reddit, G2, forums) alongside traditional SEO
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Own pipeline generation targets — demos booked and opportunities created are your north star
  • Design and execute integrated demand generation programs across paid search (Google/SEM), paid social (LinkedIn), SEO, email, content, and events
  • Build and manage lead nurture and lifecycle programs in partnership with Sales
  • Continuously A/B test creative formats, messaging, and campaign structures — and bring examples of non-boilerplate campaigns that actually moved pipeline
  • Own the day-to-day marketing tech stack: Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Demandbase
  • Maintain attribution tracking, lead routing, and CRM data hygiene so pipeline reporting is trusted by Sales
  • Analyze campaign performance to surface insights and tell a clear, actionable story — this is a key differentiator for this role
  • Track and optimize unit economics across channels: cost per lead, cost per opportunity, pipeline contribution
  • Use AI tools (including Claude) as a core part of how you research, write, iterate, and move faster
  • Think ahead on AI Engine Optimization (AEO): as buyers increasingly use LLMs to research vendors, you have ideas on how to build League's presence in those results
  • Partner with Sales to align on target accounts, campaign timing, and pipeline goals
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on messaging, content, and campaign assets
  • Work with Revenue Operations to ensure clean data flows and shared definitions between marketing and CRM
  • Manage the demand generation budget, allocating spend across programs based on performance data
  • Direct agency partners and contractors as needed
  • Compliance with Information Security Policies
  • Ensure access management is performed in compliance with the employee's role and responsibilities
  • Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures within the department/ team
  • Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
