About The Position

PubMatic is seeking a Senior Director of Growth Marketing to build and lead a data-driven growth engine that generates, converts, and demonstrates marketing-sourced pipeline. The role is accountable for translating investment in growth marketing infrastructure into improved pipeline and revenue results, with stated targets of 15–25% marketing-sourced pipeline lift in year one and 35% or more at full build. The position owns four connected areas: the lead-to-revenue funnel from marketing-qualified lead through opportunity and close; the marketing technology stack and first- and third-party data and intent strategy; account-based marketing and engagement of new audiences; and digital channel performance across paid media, SEO, GEO, AEO, lifecycle marketing, and web conversion. The role leads a team of three direct reports across web, business development, and campaign management. Reporting directly to the CMO, the Senior Director works closely with Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, regional marketing leaders, Corporate Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, and IT. The role is based in New York City. PubMatic employees work on a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remotely.

Requirements

  • 12 or more years of progressive B2B marketing experience.
  • Significant experience in growth, performance, or demand generation marketing with direct accountability for pipeline conversion.
  • Experience in ad tech or programmatic advertising, including marketing to agencies, brands, and/or commerce and retail media networks.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with marketing automation, CRM and Salesforce integration, intent data platforms, and data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Proven experience building audience-targeting strategies using first-party and third-party data with intent signals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lead funnel from marketing-qualified lead through opportunity creation and closed-won, with accountability for conversion at each stage.
  • Build and refine lead-scoring models that prioritize accounts and contacts with the greatest likelihood to convert.
  • Design standardized, system-driven lead and contact workflows for lead creation, funnel progression, automated routing, and measurement.
  • Partner with Sales on a marketing-qualified-lead response service-level agreement and use qualification feedback to improve targeting.
  • Manage and develop the business development function through disciplined cadences, scripts, and campaigns.
  • Own the growth marketing technology stack, including marketing automation, campaign and lifecycle tooling, reporting, and experimentation infrastructure.
  • Develop first- and third-party data strategies incorporating intent signals to identify in-market accounts and personalize engagement.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and IT on Salesforce integration, data hygiene, and lead and contact data quality.
  • Work with Marketing Operations to ensure growth marketing activity feeds a shared attribution model connecting spend to pipeline and revenue.
  • Evaluate and recommend marketing technology and data capabilities to improve targeting, personalization, and measurement.
  • Build and scale account-based marketing programs that engage net-new brand, agency, commerce, and retail media network accounts.
  • Design go-to-market approaches that expand PubMatic’s direct reach to a larger universe of brands and independent agencies.
  • Develop account- and persona-level engagement strategies combining intent data, lifecycle marketing, and sales outreach.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to turn positioning and go-to-market strategy into account-based plays, playbooks, and repeatable campaigns.
  • Own strategy and performance across paid media, SEO, GEO, AEO, lifecycle and nurture programs, and web conversion.
  • Set channel goals, audience segmentation, and a continuous testing roadmap across coordinated digital channels.
  • Guide Digital Marketing team execution and be accountable for the aggregate pipeline contribution of the channel mix.
  • Run an experimentation framework that incorporates A/B testing and rapid iteration into major programs.
  • Prepare and present growth insights, channel performance, and funnel metrics to the CMO and marketing leadership.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing growth marketing team, including campaign and marketing automation, paid media, and business development.
  • Partner with Sales Operations on CRM integration and own the roadmap for automation, lead scoring, and technology stack optimization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations on growth marketing budget planning and reporting, ensuring programs are measured and defensible.
  • Connect growth marketing with regional marketing leaders and help translate global campaigns into regional pipeline.
  • Establish and model data-driven decision-making and operational rigor.
