About The Position

Bonduelle Americas is hiring a Director, Consumer and Category Insights to own the strategic narrative for its plant-forward portfolio in the United States. The role leads category understanding, syndicated data, and consumer and shopper research, translating market and consumer evidence into decisions about brand building, innovation, and growth across retail classes of trade. It combines hands-on ownership of syndicated data sources and vendor relationships with the design and leadership of primary consumer and shopper research. The Director connects what market data shows with why consumers and shoppers behave as they do, and turns complex information into persuasive stories that guide assortment, shelf, promotion, pricing, and brand decisions. This is a build role: the Director will establish the insights function, its standards, data governance, and processes, and help Bonduelle become a more insight-led, customer-centric organization. The role integrates category and channel dynamics into commercial go-to-market strategy, partnering across Product Development, Brand Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Customer Planning, Omni-Channel Activation, Sales, and other teams. The position leads a small team and owns relevant data, panel, and research budgets, reporting, and communications to Sales leadership and the Executive Leadership Team. Bonduelle Americas is a certified B Corp and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Groupe Bonduelle. It operates four facilities and employs nearly 3,000 Associates in the US. Its mission is to inspire the transition toward a plant-rich diet to contribute to people's well-being and planet health.
