Director, Brand & Content Marketing

Personify Health•Morristown, NJ
•$122,097 - $145,000

About The Position

Personify Health is hiring a hands-on Director, Brand & Content Marketing to sharpen and amplify the company’s story. The director will set content strategy, guide how the brand appears across channels, and personally write and edit high-visibility work. The role leads a small team of brand and social managers, partners closely with product marketing to align company and product narratives, and shares ownership of the external PR agency with the VP of Integrated Marketing. The director will build and execute content strategy for Personify Health’s wellbeing and health platform story in support of 2027 go-to-market priorities. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on creation, including executive thought leadership, bylines, key narratives, web copy, and campaign copy. It will also establish editorial calendars and a repeatable content engine for sales, marketing, and product, translating complex health and benefits topics into clear, useful content for HR leaders, benefits buyers, brokers, and consultants. The role will manage the brand manager and social media manager, maintaining consistent voice, tone, and visual identity across channels and partners and developing an organic social presence that supports pipeline and executive visibility. In close partnership with product marketing, the director will align brand-, division-, and product-level messaging across the funnel, establish shared messaging frameworks and review practices, and identify and resolve content gaps or conflicts. The director will also support demand generation, client marketing, launches, events, and customer-facing materials. The director will co-own the PR agency relationship with the VP of Integrated Marketing, directing day-to-day work, reviewing agency output, tracking results, and helping keep the agency proactive. The role also supports executive and internal communications, media and analyst opportunities, and spokesperson preparation as needed. Success will be measured through content and communications performance, including engagement, share of voice, and pipeline influence. The position requires 10 or more years of experience in marketing communications, content, or brand, including at least three years leading people; a strong writing portfolio; experience tying content strategy to business results; and close partnership with product marketing to align messaging across the funnel. A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. The listed base salary range is $122,097–$145,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.
