Relocation support is available. Salary is $300,000–$400,000 per year, paid entirely as base salary, with no annual bonus. The company offers equity and additional benefits.

  • Experience working inside an energy business and close to commercial or operating decisions; relevant backgrounds include origination, trading, battery development, optimization, and asset ownership.
  • Experience producing, commissioning, or critically evaluating long-term market outlooks, with an understanding of their investment use and how to communicate uncertainty.
  • Ability to follow and challenge modeling approaches, work effectively with technical specialists, and help turn technical work into products customers use.

  • Proven experience hiring, developing, and leading teams, ideally of ten or more people; exceptional leaders of smaller teams will be considered.
  • Established customer relationships and the ability to lead discussions with banks, investors, and asset owners.

  • Ability to deliver with limited support, take initiative, work from first principles, and demonstrate how to maintain quality while increasing delivery pace.
  • Ambition, honesty, low ego, constructive challenge, openness to feedback, early communication of problems, and sound, trusted judgment.
  • Willingness to provide hands-on, visible leadership and bring urgency to delivery.
