JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Site Lead, the incumbent directs packaging operations and the brewery's maintenance function, including asset reliability, utilities, water treatment, and buildings. The role combines the field agility of a microbrewery with the rigor of Labatt/AB InBev standards to deliver the production plan safely, compliantly, and competitively, while building a sustainable culture of reliability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration, science, or any relevant field, combined with 7 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in team management, operations, maintenance, reliability, or production, ideally in a unionized environment.
- Good command of industrial equipment, performance indicators, continuous improvement, and management tools (SAP, ERP, Excel, Power BI).
- Ability to influence at all levels, communicate clearly, and maintain a high level of expectation with humanity.
- Mobilizing leadership, results orientation, agility, analytical skills, and ability to manage change.
- Excellent communication in French and English.
- Availability to support operations outside typical hours as needed.
Responsibilities
- Direct can and keg lines, plant/brewpub/warehouse maintenance, utilities, water treatment, buildings, and related technical services.
- Be accountable for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of management systems, the Autonomous Team program in packaging and maintenance, and act as the leader of the Autonomous Team program for the brewery.
- Define and influence the strategy, priorities, and objectives of their sector while mobilizing and developing teams.
- Ensure operational performance, health and safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize packaging operations, maintenance, equipment reliability, and asset management.
- Guarantee the performance of utilities, infrastructure, and compliance with environmental requirements.
- Manage budgets, resources, and projects to achieve site performance objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and actively contribute to the site's management team.
