About The Position

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports people in reaching personal goals, making choices, and living as independently as possible. The role includes assisting with daily activities, encouraging community involvement, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment. The position is available in Hamburg, NY and surrounding areas, with full-time and part-time shifts available during the day, evening, and overnight. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour and increases to $20 per hour after successful completion of a six-month probationary period. Paid training is provided, and prior experience is not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license that meets agency policy.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements, including standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
