Part-time Direct Support Professional (Friday and Saturday: 11pm to 7am)
About The Position
P.I.L.O.T. Services is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional to support adults with mild to moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides hands-on assistance and supervision while helping individuals live active, meaningful lives, build independence, and participate in their communities. The position is based at 700 Sheppard Administration in Voorhees, New Jersey, and works Friday and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The listed hourly pay range is $18.00–$18.50. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have a valid New Jersey auto driver's license with fewer than 5 points; probationary licenses are not accepted.
- Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
- Compassion, reliability, and a team-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be flexible, patient, and creative.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in human services is desired but not required; the employer will train and support the right candidate.
- A clean driving record is preferred/required if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and supervision to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
- Assist with personal care and promote independence in daily living skills.
- Transport individuals to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Plan and participate in activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, games, and outings.
- Support community involvement through volunteering, shopping trips, and social events.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with team members to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
