About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential North program in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, by helping them build daily living skills, pursue independence through personalized care plans, and take part in community events and outings. DSPs work as part of a supportive team and communicate with residents, families, and guardians. The scheduled shift is Wednesday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., at an hourly rate of $19.06–$19.44. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work well in teams and openness to learning new skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Current driver's license in good standing.
• Strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
• Passion for providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
