About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential North program in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to pursue their best lives by providing quality, compassionate care and supporting their skills, independence, and community participation. The schedule is full-time: Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44.

Bancroft is a service provider for children and adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as people in need of neurological rehabilitation. The organization describes its workforce as a care team of 2,700 employees across more than 200 facilities and homes in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Current driver's license in good standing.
• Strong desire to work with autistic individuals and/or people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Passion for providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.
