About The Position

Bancroft is hiring Direct Support Professionals for its Adult Residential department in Medford, New Jersey. The role provides quality, empathetic care to adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals help residents build daily-living skills, encourage independence through personalized care plans, organize community events and outings, work collaboratively with a supportive team, and communicate with residents, families, and guardians. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Sunday 11 a.m.–11:30 p.m., Monday 2 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Tuesday 3 p.m.–11:30 p.m., and Wednesday 2 p.m.–11:30 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Current driver's license in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
