About The Position

ViaQuest Residential Services Direct Support Professionals provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. The goal is to foster greater independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring individuals’ health and safety needs are met. Training is provided in its entirety, and no prior experience is required. This is a part-time, weekends-only position in Bowling Green, Ohio, and surrounding areas, paying $17.25–$18.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a personal, reliable vehicle and be willing and able to use it to transport individuals served.
• Have a valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria, as verified by the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Be able to push, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds and climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in all aspects of their lives.
• Complete household tasks, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.
