About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Williamsport, Cogan Station, and surrounding communities in Pennsylvania. DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings as companions and mentors, helping clients reach their full potential. The positions are part-time, with the possibility of additional hours and full-time availability. Openings are available across day, evening, and weekend shifts. Pay starts at $17 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including dressing, grooming, and basic hygiene.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time with clients doing their favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
