About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings. DSPs serve as companions and mentors, helping clients reach their full potential. Positions are available in and around State College, Pennsylvania, including Centre Hall, Rebersburg, Mifflinburg, Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Lewistown, and Lock Haven. This is a part-time role with day, evening, and weekend shifts. Starting pay is $17 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling. Requirements

One year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including dressing, grooming, and basic hygiene.
Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
Spend time with clients participating in their favorite hobbies and activities.
Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
Participate in community integration activities.
