About The Position

Mosaic is seeking a Temporary Direct Support Professional to support people as they learn and develop daily living skills and participate in life activities, with the goal of living as independently as possible. The role involves helping people identify and pursue meaningful personal goals, monitoring their comfort and safety, and ensuring their medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met. DSPs also provide emotional support and assist with housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.

This is a temporary assignment with a maximum 120-day timeframe and conversion options. The position pays $25 per hour and is limited to 40 hours per week, with no overtime eligibility. Temporary employees are ineligible for benefits, PTO, sign-on bonuses, and referral incentives. No prior experience is needed; thorough training is provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required, where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience is needed; training is provided.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time-management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and safely transferring people.
