About The Position

Mosaic is seeking a Temporary Direct Support Professional to support people as they develop daily living skills and take part in life activities, with the goal of living as independently as possible. The position is temporary, pays $25, and is limited to a maximum of 40 hours per week. It is not eligible for overtime, benefits, PTO, sign-on bonuses, or referral incentives. The assignment is limited to 120 days, with conversion options.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver's license where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience is needed; thorough training is provided.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities while communicating honestly about timelines, challenges, and questions.
• Physical ability to meet the role's demands, including extended standing, walking, and bending; occasional sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting, and balancing; frequent reaching; occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds; frequent pushing or pulling up to 40 pounds of force; and safely transferring 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where people can learn, grow, and discover while developing daily living skills and life activities.
• Help people identify and achieve the goals that are important to them.
• Monitor the comfort and safety of people served and ensure their medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met.
• Provide emotional support and assist with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
