About The Position

Mosaic is hiring temporary Direct Support Professionals to support people as they learn and develop daily living skills and life activities, with the goal of living as independently as possible. The role involves helping people identify and achieve personal goals, monitoring their comfort and safety, and ensuring their medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met. DSPs also provide emotional support and assist with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.

This is a temporary assignment with a maximum timeframe of 120 days and possible conversion options. The wage is $25. The position is limited to 40 hours per week, with no overtime eligibility. Temporary employees are ineligible for benefits, PTO, sign-on bonuses, and referral incentives. No prior experience is needed; thorough training is provided.

Requirements

• Desire to make a positive difference in people's lives; no experience is needed, and thorough training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver's license where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective, clear written and verbal communication.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities while communicating honestly about timelines, challenges, and questions.
• Physical ability to perform the listed standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and transfer activities.
