About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential department in Collingswood, New Jersey. The role supports adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as people in need of neurological rehabilitation. The position calls for a compassionate, empathetic team member who is committed to providing quality care and helping residents build independence and everyday skills.

The schedule is Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding, and the schedule requires weekend availability. Bancroft describes its organization as a care team of 2,700 employees across more than 200 facilities and homes in New Jersey and Delaware.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Works well in teams and is open to learning new skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Current driver's license in good standing.
• Strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
