About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential department in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. The role supports adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner and help residents develop daily living skills, grow their independence, and participate in community activities. The position pays $19.06–$19.44 per hour and is scheduled Thursday and Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
