About The Position

The Direct Support Professional provides quality care, direction, guidance, and assistance to customers with daily activities. The role also supports customers in achieving agreed-upon goals that improve quality of life and community integration, while monitoring their condition, surroundings, and equipment to help ensure safety and success. The position is scheduled Wednesday from 7 p.m. to midnight and Thursday from midnight to 7 a.m. in Russellville, Arkansas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understand and endorse ICM’s mission and vision.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bathing, bathroom functions, feeding, menu planning, dressing, grooming, medication, treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation for errands, and serve as a companion.
• Help customers achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community.
• Provide written daily updates about each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Observe customers’ condition and monitor surroundings, equipment, and materials to ensure safety and success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow ICM policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and seek clarification when needed.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
