About The Position
Circle of Life is a home care agency serving six states and providing services to seniors, children, and people with disabilities. The organization’s mission is to honor those it serves and help clients remain independent in their homes and communities. The Direct Support Professional will visit clients in their homes and support disabled adults in Duluth and surrounding areas. The role is part-time to start, with the possibility of additional hours as community support needs increase. Schedules vary according to client needs. The position involves supporting clients with individualized goals and personal care, helping maintain a clean and safe home, building relationships, reporting concerns to the Designated Coordinator, and encouraging community engagement. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current insurance, and be comfortable visiting clients at home. They must be willing to provide transportation when necessary.

Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their homes and help them maintain their independence.
- Support clients in achieving individualized goals.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including helping clients get in and out of bed and assisting with bathing or showering.
- Help ensure clients’ homes are clean and safe.
- Build relationships with clients and report concerns to the Designated Coordinator.
- Support clients’ community engagement, including attending community events.
- Provide transportation when necessary.
