About The Position

This is an opportunity for a compassionate caregiver to support a member in the Darlington, Wisconsin area. The role helps the member remain in their own home and have more control over their supports. The position offers up to 27 hours per week, with flexible midday shifts between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., typically 2–3 hours per day. Compensation is $18 per hour. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that Member is the legal employer; Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting and does not become the legal employer of record.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Pass a background check before hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare snacks and meals for the client.
• Provide housekeeping, laundry, and basic home care.
• Administer medication.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, ostomy changing, catheter emptying, bowel program, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with Hoyer transfers.
• Reposition the client frequently due to bed sores.
• Help remove clutter and maintain organization.
• Run errands.
