About The Position
As a Direct Support Professional at Sevita, you will support individuals in living more independent, fulfilling lives while building meaningful connections and gaining experience. You will help individuals achieve personal and developmental goals and participate in daily living activities, community engagement, and recreation. This is a part-time, onsite position with a starting pay of $18.65 per hour and an on-demand pay option.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or five years of documented caregiving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Reliable, responsible, and compassionate approach to caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, including budgeting, nutrition, community activities, and recreation.
- Build trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
- Take initiative and contribute ideas and dedication to the role.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
- Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and attend events they enjoy.
