About The Position
GT Independence is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional to work in Green Bay, Wisconsin (Brown County). The role supports clients in living a life of their choosing, regardless of age or ability, and encourages them to live authentically. Work takes place in a member’s living situation, a typical office setting, or other community settings. Starting wage is $17 per hour. No experience is required; training is provided to the right person.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid, active driver’s license required.
- Current car insurance with at least liability coverage required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Copies of the driver’s license and car insurance card are requested before hiring.
- Skills in teamwork, multitasking, adaptability, communication, and time management.
- Patient, compassionate, attentive, reliable, responsible, and accountable.
