About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential department in North Brunswick. The role supports adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. The schedule is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., at an hourly rate of $19.06–$19.44. Caring for the people served can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Be able and willing to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
