Direct Support Professional
About The Position
As a Direct Support Professional at Sevita, you help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. You support participants in pursuing developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and help them take part in their community and enjoy favorite activities. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
