About The Position

Woodfords Family Services is hiring full-time Direct Support Professionals for its Community Supports (Expeditions) Programs in Westbrook and Kennebunk, Maine. DSPs support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build skills, participate in their communities, and pursue independent, fulfilling lives. The role involves a variety of meaningful activities and person-centered support to help individuals achieve personal goals.

No prior DSP experience or certification is required at hire. Woodfords provides paid DSP certification training, supervision, ongoing support, and mentorship. Employees must have a DSP certification or successfully complete the full DSP course within six months of hire.

The position pays $17.00–$19.00 per hour. It is full-time, with no weekends and paid holidays off. The advertised benefits apply to full-time employees working 30–40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Use of a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• DSP certification, or successful completion of the full DSP course within six months of hire.
