About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in and around Bloomsburg, Danville, and surrounding areas. DSPs build one-on-one relationships with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and support them in living more independently, confidently, and fully. The role involves helping with daily routines and personal care, encouraging activities and community participation, and assisting with transportation. The position offers flexible part-time schedules, with shifts varying by location.

Requirements

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to support client needs in the community.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in building independence and confidence.
• Engage clients in hobbies, activities, and meaningful moments.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and routines.
• Encourage community engagement and social connection.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and outings.
