About The Position

Creed Medical is seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, fostering independence, and promoting community engagement. DSPs provide personalized care and encouragement to enhance the lives of the individuals they serve, working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate approach, patience, and a desire to help others.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outings.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in direct care.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household duties.
• Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
• Implement individualized care plans, document progress, and report any changes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement while building trusting relationships.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
