About The Position
We are currently seeking a team member to fill our Full-Time Direct Support Professional position in our Day Hab. Program. Current Openings: (1) FT Lead DSP and (1) FT DSP. This role involves assisting people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living and involving them in the life of the community. The position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and effectively communicate with team members. Training will be provided for therapeutic intervention for possible behaviors.
Requirements
- Be able to drive (18 years old & valid driver's license)
- Have a positive attitude and be self-directed
- Be dependable
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Effectively communicate with team members
- Comfortable assisting with personal care needs AND Possible behaviors
Responsibilities
- Assist people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living
- Involve PWS in the life of the community
- Participate in the RRHSF's On-Call Rotation
