About The Position
We are currently seeking a team member to fill our Full-Time Direct Support Professional position in our Day Support Program. This role involves assisting people with disabilities to become more independent in their daily activities. The position requires a motivated, dependable, and self-directed individual with a positive attitude who can effectively communicate with team members. Training will be provided for therapeutic intervention for possible behaviors.
Requirements
- Be able to drive (18 years old & have a valid driver's license)
- Motivated to teach
- Be dependable
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Have a positive attitude and be self-directed
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable assisting with personal care needs
- Comfortable with possible behaviors (therapeutic intervention training provided)
- Enjoy participating in community activities
