About The Position
We are currently seeking a team member to fill our Full-Time Direct Support Professional position in our Day Hab. Program. This role involves assisting people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living and enjoy involving them in the life of the community. The primary hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with participation in the RRHSF's On-Call Rotation.
Requirements
- Be able to drive (18 years old & valid driver's license)
- Have a positive attitude and be self-directed
- Be dependable
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Effectively communicate with team members
- Comfortable assisting with personal care needs
- Comfortable with possible behaviors (therapeutic intervention training provided)
Responsibilities
- Assist people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living
- Enjoy involving PWS in the life of the community
- Participate in the RRHSF's On-Call Rotation
