About The Position

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide compassionate, person-centered support to people with acquired brain injuries. The role helps individuals build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve personal goals in home and community settings. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and encourage clients with acquired brain injuries to make progress at home and in the community.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Help clients prepare for their day and get to and from work, therapy, and other appointments.
• Perform range-of-motion exercises.
• Perform household services essential to home health care.
• Attend concerts, sporting events, and other entertainment activities with clients.
